カノムパンは僕にとって、凄腕のギタリストを見つけて一緒に組んだバンドのようなものでした。もちろん、ギタリストはBOSSでした。
Khanompang as a kind of band. However we never playing music, baking breads and cooking vegan foods instead. One day, I met a girl. Her name's Mariko. She's had a great skill in cooking. We united a band "khanompang". She's the BOSS.

そしてそのバンドはインディーズバンドなのです。ビジネスではありません。資本を受けず、好きな事を好きなように表現し、その姿勢を好きになってくれたお客さんのためにパンと食事を提供する。拡大を目指さず、自分たちが食べていける位を稼ぎ、でもたまに旅行に行ければいい。
This is an indies band. Independent and DIY's are our motto. We do what we want, do what we express ourselves, for audience who loves us. Not for business. Not aim to expand. Bit money for enough to eat and go on a trip once in a while.

またカノムパンはライブハウスでありレーベルでもありました。パンや料理は楽曲でした。メニューはアルバムです。年に数回出店という名のギグやフェスに出ました。
And our shop is a live house or a label. Bakes are tunes. Menus are albums. We often gigged (means sold our bakes, dishes, coffee, etc.) some fest or events.

このバンドにも幾つかの転機がありました。ディーン&デルーカにパンを卸したり、ビーガン・タイ料理をメニューに出したり、藤沢の小麦に出会ったり、エリカ・バドゥにケータリングしたり、10周年記念パーティーに素晴らしいDJたちを呼んだり。かと思えば、飼い猫が病気で死んだり、亀が家出したり、車のブレーキがきかず死にそうになったり、クタクタになってインドへアーユルヴェーダ受けに行ったり、医者も薬も無い島でデング熱に罹ったり。
We had some opportunity past decade. We Provided our bread Dean & Deluca. authentic vegan Thai food added our menu. met a local farmer who grow wheat. catered for Erykah Badu Japan tour. held on our 10th anniversary with top DJ's on the beach. The other things, our cats died seriously ill. Our tortoise had ran away from home. We were almost dead because car brakes didn't work. She exhausted, and went to had Ayurveda in mysterious south India. We got dengue fever same time on a small isle had no doctor and no medicine.

震災があって、材料に気をつけながら、必要としてくれているお客さんのためにも店を開け続け、支援物資を集めたり募金を送ったり、瓦礫の撤去にも行きました。年を重ねる中でお客さんや友人の死を幾つか受け入れ、そして彼女の病気と治療。再発。
The Great East Japan Earthquake hit our land, 3.11.2011. We immediately ran our shop for customers who need us. We accepted an aid and fund, went to remove the rubble of disaster area. We got some friends and customers indirect death with the disaster past few years. And BOSS had a breast cancer and an operation two years ago, then relapse and an operation again, recently.

今、カノムパンは大きな転換点を迎えています。今日、バンドからメンバーが脱退しました。ジョニー・マーであり、イアン・カーティスであり、リー・ラナルドであり、レイ・マンザレクであり、ミック・カーンであり、ブライアン・ウィルソンであり、ジョーン・ジェットであり…、そう、大事なキーパーソンでした。BOSS、今までありがとう。
Khanompang facing a major turning point, now. Today is the day. A great member leave our band, away. She was my Johnny Marr, Ian Curtis, Lee Ranaldo, Ray manzarek, Mick Karn, Brian Wilson, or Joan Jett... Yes, she was a key. Thank you for everything, BOSS.

彼女は素晴らしい料理の技術と経験を持っています。イタリアンレストランとインディアンレストランとタイレストランなどで働き、この自家製酵母パンとビーガンカフェを運営してきました。
She had a great skill and experience was working for Italian, Indian, Thai restaurants and more, then membered this house made bread and vegan friendly cafe "khanompang".

これからは生まれ育った東京で、療養しつつ料理の腕をふるって行く予定です。だからどこかでまた食べられますよ！
She plan to go back to Tokyo where was a familiar place. And will show her cooking skills while treatment now on. So you'll be able to eat her dishes somewhere again!

カノムパンはソロプロジェクトになるのか新しいメンバーを迎えるのか。
I'm not sure that Khanompang will goes my solo project or gather new members.

僕はパンと焼き菓子と飲み物を今まで通り提供して彼女を応援するつもりですが、それ以外は何も決まってません。
I will serve ordinary bakes and soft drinks at khanompang, as ever. And I will support her, as I could. But I have no other plan.

重ねて、店を今後どうすべきか、より良いアイデアや才能を募集しています。ありがとう。
